ena Development Consultants had the pleasure of participating in Beyond Expo 2025, which took place for the first time in Athens, from Thursday, April 3 to Saturday, April 5, 2025, at the Metropolitan Expo exhibition center.

Visitors had the opportunity to learn about the actions and capabilities of #DigiAgriFood and EIT Food, which specializes in cutting-edge areas such as Artificial Intelligence, Advanced Digital Skills, High-Performance Computing, Digital Transformation, and Interoperability, directly supporting the missions of the Digital Europe 2021-2027 Program.

Visitors had the opportunity to learn about the activities and opportunities of #DigiAgriFood and EIT Food, which specializes in cutting-edge fields such as Artificial Intelligence, Advanced Digital Skills, High-Performance Computing, Digital Transformation, and Interoperability, and directly supports the missions of the Digital Europe Program 2021-2027.

Throughout the exhibition, representatives of the hub presented its strategies and initiatives for supporting the digital and green transformation of agrifood, through innovative actions aimed at SMEs, public authorities, and citizens.

A significant moment was the presentation of the Startup Guide for Greek AgTech & FoodTech businesses by Reframe.food, supported by the Hub, as well as the event on smart greenhouses, which involved Perrotis College – American Farm School, Cisco, and Green Projects. Ioannis Amarantidis, Senior Project Manager of #DigiAgriFood, presented the Hub's activities and highlighted the role of technology as a catalyst for sustainable development.

Additionally, Paraskevi Somalou, PhD Candidate at the Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics at Democritus University of Thrace & representative of EIT Food Hub Greece, presented the work of EIT Food, the largest and most dynamic knowledge and innovation community in the food sector, whose mission is to transform the way food is produced, distributed, and consumed, with the goal of increasing its value for the European community.

This year’s Beyond Expo focused on Artificial Intelligence, showcasing it not only as a technological tool but also as a matter of institutional governance and public policy. It also served as a space for knowledge exchange, networking, and inspiration, with thousands of visitors, investors, startups, and international organizations coming together in a dynamic collaborative environment.
