ena Development Consultants, Partner, Innovation & Communication Mediator of #DigiAgriFood, the first European Digital Innovation Hub in the agrifood sector in Greece, proudly participated in Synergy Days 2024, held on October 14–15 at the World Trade Center in Barcelona.
#enateam, represented by Dimitris Bardakidis, Co-founder & AgriFood Expert, Stavros Amoiras, Director of Strategic Planning & Development, and Stella Bazdani, Coordinator of Public Sector & EU Programmes Consulting Services, attended inspiring workshops and interactive labs. They had the opportunity to engage with leading digital innovation stakeholders as well as Greek and international agrifood experts, gaining valuable insights and experiences.
Maria Michalopoulou, Project Coordinator and Scientific Responsible of DigiAgriFood, participated in the panel discussion titled “European Digital Innovation Hubs: Building digital capacity in your region”, which took place on October 15. In her speech, she presented the key takeaways from the hub's two years of operation, highlighting best practices that showcase the importance of its presence in the Greek innovation ecosystem. She also emphasized the impact of the hub’s services and interactions with innovation actors at the pan-European level. Finally, she outlined the strategic roadmap and future plans of #DigiAgriFood and its consortium for the upcoming period.
Synergy Days 2024, under the theme “Connecting Communities”, was organized by the SMARTAGRIHUBS project and gathered over 400 participants from more than 40 European research projects and European Digital Innovation Hubs (EDIHs).
Attendees had the chance to engage in discussions, share knowledge, and participate in hands-on workshops. Keynote sessions covered a wide range of topics and featured representatives from the research community, the European Union, public administration, and agrifood sector stakeholders.
SMARTAGRIHUBS is a vast network of service providers, startups, SMEs, and tech specialists focused on the development and implementation of digital solutions in the agrifood sector. The event aimed to strengthen communication among digital innovation players across Europe, enabling knowledge exchange and dialogue on the sector’s digital transformation.
